The Foyle Area (Control of Oyster Fishing) Regulations 2008 These Regulations specify the places at which the landings of oysters (Ostrea Edulis) may be made within the Foyle Area. The Foyle Area (Landing Areas for Oysters) Regulations 2008 These Regulations amend the Foyle Area (Control of Oysters) Regulations 2008 by increasing the minimum size of oyster that may be retained on board a vessel from 75mm to 80mm. The Foyle Area (Licensing of Oyster Fishing) (Amendment) Regulations 2010 ![]() These Regulations prohibit the dredging for oysters in the Foyle Area without a valid oyster fishing licence and prescribe the application procedure and fee for such licence. The Foyle Area (Licensing of Oyster Fishing) Regulations 2008 (g) provide for the keeping of logbooks and the issue and return of such logbooks (Regulations 7 and 8).
